Command and Conquer: Tiberian Dawn - "Grenade Throw" Sound Effect Enabler

This archive contains the file "SC-004.MIX", which contains the single sound
effect file "TOSS.AUD". This sound effect is sort of a "woosh" sound, and would
normally be used when grenades are thrown in the game. Unfortunately, this
sound effect was disabled in the release version of Command and Conquer, as
Westwood Studios renamed the file to "TOSS1.AUD" in the game's "SOUND.MIX"
file.

The included "SC-004.MIX" file should work properly with Command and Conquer:
Tiberian Dawn (for DOS) version 1.22p, but it may work with other versions of
the game.

To install, simply unzip the archive "C&CTOSS.ZIP" to your Command and Conquer
game installation directory (usually "C:\C&C"). If you get tired of hearing the
sound effect (or don't like it a all), rename the "SC-004.MIX" file to another
filename (e.g. "SC-004.MI_"), or simply delete it from your hard drive.
