Counter-Strike: Condition Zero "cs_Assault" Bots Ladder Fix (Rev. C) -------------------------------------------------------------------- This edited version of the AI bots navigation mesh ("cs_Assault.nav") for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero's "Assault" map ("cs_Assault.bsp") fixes several extremely annoying problems when playing the map with bots. First of all, there is a ladder located in the inside of the warehouse that goes from the ventilation ducts to the upstairs area of the warehouse. The AI bots (especially the counter-terrorists) will almost always get stuck when attempting to exit the ventilation ducts, in order to descend this ladder. Secondly, there is a side-branch of the ventilation ducts that leads to an air vent directly in front of the room where the hostages are being held. Many times the AI bots (especially the counter-terrorists) will either have problems entering this side-branch of the ventilation ducts, or have problems breaking the air vent in order to jump down in front of the room where the hostages are being held. Thirdly, the AI bots (again, usually the counter-terrorists) have problems crawling through the small hole that is broken through the concrete wall next to the room where the hostages are being held. Lastly, there are several other ladders and areas within the map that the AI bots also seem to have minor problems traversing. This new edited AI bots navigation mesh file fixes ALL of these problems, using several roundabout methods (as the game has no features for manually editing the ladder navigation meshes that are generated). Note that these methods are not 100% perfect, but the AI bots will have a MUCH BETTER chance of successfully navigating through these areas now (including reduced chances that they will fall from the roof area). To install, simply unzip the "cs_Assault.nav" file contained in the "Counter-Strike_Condition_Zero_cs_Assault_Bots_Ladder_Fix.zip" archive to the "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\\Condition Zero\CZero\Maps" directory on your hard drive. Note that the "" subdirectory is named the same as your main Steam account login name. To uninstall, simply delete the "cs_Assault.nav" file from the afore-mentioned directory. ENJOY!
