GameBoy Emulator LCD Screen Palettes ==================================== Overview -------- The files in this archive are a few 4-color LCD screen palettes for use with several of the more popular GameBoy emulation programs. The palettes are quite realistic looking, and simulate the look of the original Nintendo GameBoy DMG-01 4-color LCD screen as closely as possible. Files in this Archive --------------------- Directory: "BGB GameBoy Emulator v1.12 (Windows)" File: "Palette.ini" Usage: Using Windows Notepad or Wordpad, add the line contained in the file "Palette.ini" as the last line of BGB's "BGB.ini" file (located in your main BGB installation directory on your hard drive), and then select "Classic GB" from within BGB for the active palette. Directory: "DBoy GameBoy Emulator v0.75c (DOS)" File: "PALETTE.BAT" Usage: Copy the file "PALETTE.BAT" to your main DBoy installation directory on your hard drive, and then execute this batch file to run DBoy. Directory: "NoCash GameBoy Emulator v2.5 (DOS)" File: "USER1.RGB" Usage: Copy the file "USER1.RGB" to the "COLORS" subdirectory of your main NoCash installation directory on your hard drive, and then load "User 1" from within NoCash's "Color Schemes" menu for the active palette. Directory: "NoCash GameBoy Emulator v2.5 (Windows)" File: "GBPalette.rgb" Usage: Copy the file "GBPalette.rgb" to your main NoCash installation directory on your hard drive, and then load the file from within NoCash's "Color Schemes" menu for the active palette. Directory: "Paint Shop Pro (Windows)" Files: "GBPalette.bmp" and "GBPalette.pal" Usage: Open or import the file "GBPalette.bmp" or "GBPalette.pal" using Jasc's Paint Shop Pro ("GBPalette.pal" is a standard Jasc RGB format palette file). Directory: "VGB GameBoy Emulator v3.0 (DOS)" File: "PALETTE.BAT" Usage: Copy the file "PALETTE.BAT" to your main VGB installation directory on your hard drive, and then execute this batch file to run VGB. Directory: "VGB GameBoy Emulator v3.0 (Windows)" File: "Palette.ini" Usage: Using Windows Notepad or Wordpad, edit and overwrite the existing similar lines contained in the file "Palette.ini" to VGB's "VGB.ini" file (located in your main VGB installation directory on your hard drive). Note: For the KiGB GameBoy emulator (both the DOS and Windows versions), simply select "Classic GB" from within KiGB for the active palette (this palette is already included with KiGB, hence no additional files or editing is required).
