Custom Keyboard Hack Files for jzIntv ===================================== Overview -------- The files in this archive are several of my custom keyboard hack (key bindings) files that I use on a regular basis with Joe Zbiciak's jzIntv Intellivision emulator. ECS_Synth.kbd ------------- Entertainment Computer System piano keys mapping. Remaps the PC keyboard to logical piano keys (with flats and sharps). Press "F7" on your PC keyboard to switch to keymap 2 while running the jzIntv Intellivision emulator. Remaps the Gravis PC GamePad blue button to the Master Component left controller top action buttons, remaps the red button to the Master Component left controller bottom-left action button, remaps the green button to the Master Component left controller bottom-right action button, and remaps the yellow button to the Master Component left controller keypad enter key. Set the top dipswitch on your Gravis PC GamePad to the left position, and the bottom dipswitch to the right position. For best results, use the following joystick command line parameters when running the jzIntv Intellivision emulator: --js0="xaxis=0,yaxis=1,noac,push=50,rels=25,xrng=-98:100,yrng=-98:100,8dir" Gravis_PC_GamePad_2.kbd ----------------------- Mapping for two Gravis PC GamePads (standard gameport versions, with a joystick "Y" splitter cable), using the red and yellow gamepad buttons on each gamepad. Remaps the Gravis PC GamePad 0 red button to the Master Component left controller bottom-left action button, remaps the gamepad 0 yellow button to the Master Component left controller bottom-right action button, remaps the gamepad 1 red button to the Master Component right controller bottom-left action button, and remaps the gamepad 1 yellow button to the Master Component right controller bottom-right action button. The blue and green buttons are rapid-fire red and yellow buttons (respectively) on each gamepad. Set the top and bottom dipswitches on your Gravis PC GamePads to the left positions. For best results, use the following joystick command line parameters when running the jzIntv Intellivision emulator: --js0="xaxis=0,yaxis=1,noac,push=50,rels=25,xrng=-98:100,yrng=-98:100,8dir" --js1="xaxis=0,yaxis=1,noac,push=50,rels=25,xrng=-98:100,yrng=-98:100,8dir" Usage ----- To use any of the keyboard hack files, simply add one of the following command line parameters when running the jzIntv Intellivision emulator: --kbdhackfile=C:\jzIntv\ECS_Synth.kbd --kbdhackfile=C:\jzIntv\Gravis_PC_GamePad_1.kbd --kbdhackfile=C:\jzIntv\Gravis_PC_GamePad_2.kbd replacing "C:\jzIntv\" with the drive letter and complete path to where the keyboard hack files are located on your hard drive.
