Steam Offline MOTD Enabler
--------------------------
To enable the "Message of the Day" (MOTD.txt) screens for all Gold Source based
games when the Steam Client is in offline mode, hex-edit the following entries
in the file "SteamUI.dll" (normally located in the "C:\Program Files\Steam"
directory on your hard drive) to Hex(00):

HTML_OFFLINE_DIR=%s%s.html
Steam\cached\offline_

HTML_OFFLINE_DIR

Normally the Steam Client will display the message "Steam is currently in
Offline Mode. To go online, logout and restart Steam.". This is generated from
the file:

"C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\<USER_NAME>\<GAME_NAME>\Platform\Steam\Cached\Offline_English.html"

...but this simple hex-edit will allow the usual MOTD messages to be displayed
when the Steam Client is in offline mode.
