Example Demo Recording

The file "RNDSETUP.REC" in this archive shows some of the possibilities of the
demo recording feature of Terra Nova SFC that I recently discovered.

One complaint that many players have with Terra Nova's "Random Scenario
Builder" is that it doesn't save your mission settings. This demo recording
(partially) solves that!

Unzip "RNDSETUP.REC" to your Terra Nova directory, and rename the file to
"TN.REC". Then start up the game using the "+PLAY" command line parameter (i.e.
"TN +PLAY" or "__FF +PLAY").

Skip the intro movies by pressing the SPACEBAR, and watch as the running demo
builds a random scenario that will be set up exactly the same way each time
that you play the recording back, including the sound and video options -:)

Note that there doesn't seem to be any way to substitute a different filename
for the demo recording (that I'm aware of), or to load different filenames for
demo recordings using command line parameters, but this method will save you a
lot of mouse clicks <G>.
