Total BTU Used: 4,733 BTU (oven burner input = 7,100 BTU per hour). Total LP Gas Used: .2 pounds (1 pound LP gas = 21,548 BTU). 1 egg 3/4 cup milk (or 1/3 cup powdered milk and 3/4 cup water) 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (or melted shortening, butter, or margarine) 4 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons powdered cinnamon 2 cups Bisquick or Jiffy baking mix 1 ripe banana and/or 1 ripe apple 1 large graham cracker 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1 1/4 teaspoons water Combine slightly beaten egg, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, and cinnamon in a medium sized mixing bowl, and mix thoroughly. Add baking mix, and mix thoroughly (batter will be slightly lumpy). Mash banana to a fine consistency and/or dice cored and peeled apple, and mix thoroughly into batter. Grease 5 x 9 inch rectangular bread pan, and fill with batter. Finely crush graham cracker, and sprinkle evenly and liberally on top of batter. Preheat oven 350 degrees. Bake on center rack for 30 minutes, and remove from oven. While coffee cake is still hot, combine powdered sugar and water, mix thoroughly to a thick glaze consistency. Pour glaze on top of coffee cake in a checkered pastry pattern. If it's cold outside in the woods, leave oven door open to warm inside of travel trailer . Slice and serve warm, with hot black coffee.
