Replacement Instruments for Insaniquarium Deluxe and Fish Song Player --------------------------------------------------------------------- (C)Copyright 2006, Rich „Weeds„ Nagel - All rights reserved Overview -------- The files in this archive are are several new instruments for use with Popcap Games' "Insaniquarium Deluxe" in-game "Fish Song" player feature, as well as the standalone Fish Song Player utility (TonePlayer.exe) by Flying Bear Entertainment. The new instruments were created with a Creative Labs' WaveBlaster I and three AWE32s, an 8mb EMU Technologies soundbank, a 24mb Sonido Media soundbank, and numerous other custom soundbanks loaded into 96mb of on-board AWE32 ram, a Casio CZ-1 keyboard (yeah I know it's old, darn thing weighs a ton too ), and using Twelve Tone Systems' Cakewalk Professional v3.01, with extensive digital editing and mixing using GoldWave v4.26 and Cool Edit Professional v1.20, and OGG encoding using GoldWave v4.26. New Instrument Sets ------------------- The following is a list of all of the instrument sets contained in this pack: Acoustic Guitar Gatorade Bottle (sound heard when slapping a plastic Gatorade bottle ) Grand Piano Nylon Guitar Original Mono (Marimba, the original Fish Song player instrument) Original Stereo (Marimba, stereo version of the original instrument) Pad 1 Pipe Organ String Ensemble Preinstallation Notes --------------------- Note that there are two complete set of files of each of the instrument sets contained in this pack. The "WAV" format files contained in the subdirectories in the "Fish Song Player" directory in the archive (Ding.wav, DingHi.wav, DingLo.wav, and DingSuperHi.wav) are for use with Flying Bear Entertainment's standalone Fish Song Player utility (TonePlayer.exe), while the "OGG" format files contained in the subdirectories in the "Insaniquarium Deluxe" directory in the archive (Ding.ogg, DingHi.ogg, DingLo.ogg, and DingSuperHi.ogg) are for use with Insaniquarium Deluxe's in-game "Fish Song" player feature. Also note that for use with Insaniquarium Deluxe's in-game "Fish Song" player feature, you may need to delete the following four files before starting the game for the new instrument set to be used (they will be recreated upon starting the game): cached_ding.wav cached_dinghi.wav cached_dinglo.wav cached_dingsuperhi.wav These four files can be found in the "C:\Program Files\PopCap Games\Insaniquarium Deluxe\Sounds" subdirectory on your hard drive. Installation and Usage ---------------------- Simply unzip and copy the appropriate files for the instrument set of your choice to the "C:\Program Files\PopCap Games\Insaniquarium Deluxe\Sounds" subdirectory on your hard drive, or to the directory on your hard drive where the standalone Fish Song Player utility is installed (overwriting the original files).
