"Warhead Test Facility War Pack" v1.2 ===================================== BOMB'S AWAY! ------------ War is hell... welcome to the "Warhead Test Facility War Pack" for GeneRally! This pack is a complete missle war TC (total conversion) for GeneRally, and basically converts the original game from a racing styled game to that of a missle war styled battle game. Installation ------------ To install the Warhead Test Facility War Pack, simply unzip WTFWP12.ZIP to your main GeneRally game directory maintaining the directory structure contained in the archive. Declaring War ------------- Fire up GeneRally and then select "Warhead" for the game language, the "Warhead" sound pack for the sound set, the "Warhead" missle for your (or an AI enemy) vehicle, and the "Warhead" track to begin your battle! After declaring war, simply load your "warhead" into one of the "missle silos", and try to bombard the target building in the right-rear area of the map! Watch as your warhead (or an AI warhead) automatically launches several hundred feet into the sky, and tumbles back to earth! The missle silos are approximately 75 feet deep into the ground, and are deep enough to completely house your projectile of choice. The "track" also keeps "score" of how many times that you (or an AI enemy) have successfully hit the target. Suggested Gameplay Settings --------------------------- Fin Wear: 30% Nitrogen Consumption: 30% Nitrogen Mass: 50kg Damage: 30% Suggested Sound Volume Settings ------------------------------- Warhead Engine Volume: 20% Windshear Volume: 80% Explosion Volume: 40% Programs and Utilities ---------------------- The Warhead Test Facility track was created using the GeneRally v1.04 Track Editor and Paint Shop Pro v6.02. The original warhead missle car file model was created exclusively for the War Pack by "King Nate". The modified warhead missle car file was edited using Juan's GeneRally Car Editor v0.9.2 and Strava's CopyPerf v1.0. The Warhead.lng language file was created using the built-in text editor in Norton Commander v5.0. The original VOC and WAV format sound effects for the Warhead sound pack were extracted from Duke Nukem 3D, NAM, Platoon, Platoon Leader, and World War II GI, with extensive digital editing and mixing using GoldWave v4.26 and Cool Edit Professional v1.20.
